Yesterday I completed the painting I am entering into this years Cossack Art Awards, fingers crossed!. In 2016,
I was lucky enough to be selected as artist in residence in the tiny, isolated town of Cossack in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. When I wasn't painting I would spend hours exploring this incredibly beautiful landscape. A favorite place was the beach at low tide where rock pools left behind by an outgoing tide and teaming with tiny life inspired my painting "
For the last three months, I have been working on paintings and ceramic pieces for the Art Upmarket, to be held on the 6th of April at Winthrop Hall at the University of Western Australian in Perth.

Working on a commissioned painting in my Bali studio. I am enjoying the rhythm of creating the downwards strokes, and playing with tonal values. It’s a meditative process that can absorb me for hour on hour.
Days pass quickly at Gaya Ceramics. Here, I am etching a design into the clay before playing with glazes. No surprise that my ceramics are as colourful as my canvases!
