Why Oil Painting?
Why do students often find oil painting intimidating?
In this class I will inspire you to embrace and understand oil painting and to allow each layer of your paint to dry to avoid your colours from becoming muddy.
What you will learn in this class?
Watch me as I create 2 oil paintings on canvas, I start with acrylic paint then draw with charcoal and add acrylic texture medium. I block out sections of my paintinhs with black gesso and then over a period of 4 weeks I layer oil paint to create a rich texture of colour.
