2026 OCHRE DESIGN by Christine Hingston
2026
The past few months have been wonderfully busy, and I thought it was time to share some of the exciting things happening both in my studio and behind the scenes.
One of the biggest changes has been spending time in Perth making deliveries of our beautiful new Ochre Design by Christine Hingston products.
It has been incredibly rewarding to finally see these collections arrive in stores after many months of planning, designing and production.

Production of the Artist Edition Collection.
The Artist Edition Collection brings my original paintings to life through beautifully crafted scarves and tote bags. Every design begins as an artwork before being carefully transformed into a piece you can wear and enjoy every day.
Just as important as the artwork is how these products are made. Sustainability has guided every step of the process.
Our scarves are created from luxuriously soft micro-modal fibres, sourced from sustainably managed beech wood forests, blended with natural silk. The fabric is produced using a closed-loop process, where water and solvents are recovered and reused, significantly reducing environmental impact.
Our tote bags are made from 100% certified organic cotton canvas, using sustainable fibres and low-impact dyes to create a durable everyday bag designed to last.
We're proud to create products that combine beautiful design, exceptional quality and environmental responsibility.

The Lifestyle Collection
The response to my Lifestyle Collection continues to amaze me, and I'm delighted to share that we've now sold more than 1,000 linen tea towels.
This collection is produced using natural linen and cotton materials with an environmentally responsible digital printing process that uses less than 2% of the water required by traditional textile printing. The process produces no wastewater, uses biodegradable water-based inks, and fixes colours using heat rather than harsh chemicals.
The result is vibrant, long-lasting colour while preserving the integrity of my original artwork and leaving a much lighter environmental footprint.
